SXSW Interactive Questions

During a conversation at work today, we talked about how embarrassingly bad the audience questions were at the panels and presentations. Surely, the world's largest collection of geeks and web rock stars (see below) could come up with better, more intelligent questions at the end of each session. In fact, nearly every question asked could fit into one of the following categories:

  • "I hear what you're saying, blah blah blah, but what about Accessibility?"

  • "Good presentation, blah blah blah blah, but what about Mobile?"

  • "Blah blah blah, (long narrative about the work they do or have done and ending on something similar to a question or perhaps not)."

My friend Dustin suggested that questions from the audience take the form of Tweets -- short and concise, 140 characters. Sounds like a good start in the right direction.
