I am suffering from resume poisoning. I was recently put me in charge of hiring 20 new Interaction Designers and Web Producers. With a few co-workers along for the ride, we pored over 100+ resumes and conducted 38 in-person interviews! And we did it all inside of one month. Sure, there were several dozen phone interviews but they were not nearly as exhausting as coordinating them past security, meeting the candidates in the lobby of the monstrous home office, and sitting down for a little face-to-face. Some were terrific. Some, I felt a lot of sympathy. In all, it was a great learning exercise. Gee, maybe I should figure out where I put my resume. I have some new ideas.
